ISKA Asian Title Belt Fight: Post Report PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 28 June 2010 05:44

ISKA Asian Title Fight Poster_EditedAs most of you probably heard, our Red Dragon Master Khoo lost his recent fight in Tehran (11 June 2010).

The following is a (edited) report lifted from the ISKA website.

“The ISKA ASIAN title fight in 72.3kg under Oriental rules was the highlight of the evening where the very experienced Red Dragon Master Khoo faced off against the young & talented Hamidreza Mohamadpour.

The fight started with a series of long & hard combinations by Mohamadpour. Master Khoo looked a little taken aback by the speed & aggression of Mohamadpour. But Master Khoo did not show any sign of backing down from the fight. The crowd were so excited that almost everybody were standing on their feet. At the end of the 1st round Mohamadpour’s jumping knee kick caused a cut under Khoo’s right eyebrow. This had to be taken care of by Khoo’s cutman. In the 2nd round Mohamdpour kept on pushing the pressure on Master Khoo & this caused profuse bleeding from the cut & the Doctor of the contest had to be called in and he stopped the contest.

Mohmadpour is now the ISKA ASIAN CHAMPION.

Khoo's Fight Pic Collage

Most of you would have heard by now that Master Khoo unfortunately lost his fight with the I-1 Champion by points.

It was a good fight and Master Khoo’s opponent kept using his height advantage and clinched Master Khoo whenever he got the chance, which didn’t give Master Khoo much of a chance to pummel him with his quick and powerful kicks & punches!

Stay tuned for a highlight reel of the fight which we will put up here!
